1 Peter 1:3- 5
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

His mercy for those who follow Him has caused us to be born again to a hope that is living and empowered by His resurrection. You are a person of the future, living in the now and sharing the hope of the future up close and personal for a lost world to see.

You are the promoter of an inheritance that can’t perish, that can’t be defiled and will never fade. This inheritance is being kept for you and for those you lead to the Lord.

God’s power is keeping watch of you and He is keeping watching over the future that is now and not yet. There is a day appointed; there is a day coming that you and I will be healed completely.

You and I have a responsibility to live our new identity in Christ so the world will know the way to true life.

John Wesley once said, “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”

Now go be a promoter for Christ today.

Promote the future of Habakkuk 2:14,
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
