If you give a very young child a guitar with only one string… they don’t often complain about it,they just pick up the guitar and start playing. They take that one string guitar and they make music with it. That kind of attitude is just amazing to me.
They don’t question why they don’t have six strings. They enjoy and make the most out of what they have been given. I think you and I can learn a lot from this type of attitude. Attitude is important. Attitude is about choice. We are given a choice each day as to how we will face the day ahead.
Circumstances will always change. but the power of attitude, the right attitude, will guide you through everything. The bible tells us to rejoice always. Rejoicing starts with the right attitude.
What are you stinking up today by your wrong attitude? Whatever it is you have the power to change it. I often tell my church, “Never complain about what you have the power to change.”
I challenge you today to be careful with your attitude, because attitude will reveal the character of a person faster than anything I know.
As one writer once said, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”
